A Quick Lighting Question

Sir Alex

Dragon the eel (below)
How big a light and how many watts would I have to have for my 110 gallon tank if I wanted to add corals? These are the dimensions: 6' long, 2' tall, and 1'6" wide.

110 = 4x - 7x

4x -5x is T-5s

6x - 7x is MHs

Lights For Your Tank and watts

MH = 770 Watts
T-5s = 550 watts

i think.... let see what other thinks

It's not discontinued, that site is the only one that distributes Odyessa products so when they're in stock they tend to sell out quickly.

That is probably the cheapest you'll find a 72" light. Usually when you get to 6+ foot tanks is when you see the lighting get exponentially more expensive.

You cant go wrong with aquatraders, they replaced my broken ballast straight away, refunded delivery. The only problem i have with it is heat, i need a fan running across the water.

It was the only place that I could find the 60" version, I just posted it so you'd know it was out there.
