Got two clowns from Dr Mac's about 3 or 4 years ago (for $25) and they always got along until about 6 months ago. Now they constantly fight with each other, nipping and bullying each other. Have they been married too long? The smaller one stands his ground against the larger. They also rub themselves on the rock and sand? No they do not have ich. What gives?

They've got the 4 year itch? Weird stuff. I think it's amazing when people's clowns get along.

You were right about the male he's a tough little guy. Let's wait to see if they can overcome their differences.

That means they will be officially divorce soon. That divorce is moving fast lol. I'm wondering who's gonna start looking for another mate? He or she? Any thoughts?

You should try some couple therapy. :DPerhaps, that might help them. Or send them on a dreamed romantic vacation.

I hope things get better soon. :)

Have you noticed them pecking at any rocks inside the tank, almost as if "cleaning" it? Because, I don't really see them nipping at each other much. More like rubbing against each other and doing a "dance".
