a very bad morning

so i woke up today and i went to check on my tank . when the lights turned on i saw all of my fish laying on the sand bed dead . what had happened was a sea hare had died in my tank behind i rock . so i couldnt see him, well there was a huge ammonia spike. i woke up to 4 dead fish :shock: not a good way to start the day . my question is should i take out my soft and hard corals?

Sorry for your loss. That's really unfortunate. I would immediately do some water changes and get the hare out. perhaps put the corals in a qt tank for a little while with some pristine water.

dang man that suck, just yesterday i went to get a heater from petco and saw they had a sea hare and i told my gf that thing is gonna nuke their tanks,since all their tanks are connected, so sorry to hear that happen to you thought

I have used ammonia de-tox products and they worked well
