Reefing newb
I took some advice I received here and put a raw shrimp in my tank to help start my cycle. On 6/1 I started up the tank with live rock and sand. For the first 2 days I got readings of 0/0/0, and on 6/3 it read 0/0/0 just before adding the shrimp in the AM. 6/3 PM ammonia was at 0.25ppm with nitrites and nitrades both still 0. 6/4 AM levels were 0.5ppm ammonia, 0.25ppm nitrites, 5.0ppm nitrates. 6/4 PM levels were 0.5ppm ammonia, 0.25ppm nitrites, and 10.0ppm nitrates. Sorry for so many numbers, but in your guys' opinion does the tank appear to be beginning to cycle properly?
