adding coral to base rock

Wondering if yo can add corals on to dead base rock.

How long has the BR been in the tank? If it`s been in there long enough it`s probably LR by now.

Al,

You can add corals to any rock in your tank. Find a nice spot, put it there, and wait a week. If it looks good, you may want to glue it in place. If it doesn't look good, move it to another spot (higher or lower or different flow area) and try again.

Al if it the new base rock you just added I would recommend waiting a few weeks to let everything settle down. Do your tests and see where your at. Patience is the KEY to this hobby.

Yep, if the rock is already pretty much established in your tank, been in there for a few days, then it should be fine.
