I woulda if they had a pair. I just visited my "Tank Store"
and saw this fella in a 20 Gallon tank i couldnt pass on it besides it was only 20 $
 
saddlebacks are cool... I am still trying to decide what kind of clowns to put in my 180. I was thinking of a pair of saddlebacks.
 
I'm in the same boat as Winy.Still undecided on what clowns to put in mine.
The black saddlebacks look nice,just as nice as the black percs imo.
 
This one seams real calm so far , he eats Real good, i droped in a cube yesterday it was gone real fast, and he Loves my Huge pods that are taking over my Rocks .

the saddle didnt make it

The blue regal is in treatment and doing Great ( knock on wood)
the damsels are Back on Death roe in a 10 G tank under the 55 no filter or food

The saddle didnt look to have ich it had a slimey string on his fins, i think the damsels picked him to death

The mandrin and sail fin are in the 55 doin good ( knock on wood ) oh and the oca and perk clowns are in the 55 too,

No more fish till i get the new tank !
 
could the lionfish sperted out some poision after his death?

I think that may be the case . I am doing a 3rd water change in the morning,
 
I have never heard of lionfish ejecting venom at all - just with spines and never after death. Sorry for your loss.
