Yo what is this? Its growing in 2 spots in my crushed coral. First time I scooped up the rocks and threw em in some boiling water for a while then back in the tank but obviously didn't get it all and the 2 spots are back about the same size as b4.

Looks like the beginning of Cyanobacteria. There's plenty of threads on here that have process' of getting rid of it. Here's one: https://www.livingreefs.com/cyano-battle-t23072.html

Sorry about the brief answer, but it's easier this way. There are probably hundreds of posts on Cyano. So if you don't find your answers in that thread you can "search" for cyano in the search bar at the top of the page.

get it taken care of in the early stages or it will drive you completely out of the hobby!

Increase your flow in that area and it wont be able to stick to the rocks or crushed coral.
