algae on glass

soo, the green algae on my glass is starting to get a little annoying.. my snails arent that hungry i guess? is something wrong with my parameters for this algae to continue like this? my magnet scrubber has a very hard time getting it off..


am i able to use a razorblade or is that not smart?

Most people use a razor attachment for the magnet, or one of those scrapers on the end of a stick. It's normal to have to clean your glass. Most of us do it every few days.

There's a razor attachment? Is it a mod or something that you can directly add onto the mag? o.o

Slave on the glass is the biggest pain. And if you skip your weekly cleaning it is more than twice as hard to remove it. :frustrat:

I get the dusty green stuff on my glass. In 2-3 days i have enough on the glass to see fish lips from my tangs. I clean the glass every other day with the magnet and it wipes right off.

Ha the fish lips picture is great. I haven't started to experience this yet not looking forward to it.
