Ammo frustration.

I am running a 29 gall tank, and it has (or had better have cycled), Istaeted this tank from new stuff Oct 1/11, just cleaned 2 of the 3 bio filters in the Fluval C4 filter, but it doesn't seem to matter what I do I cannot get my Ammo lower than a .25.

Any thoughts? How concerned do I really have to be?

There are only a C.U.Crew of an emerald crab, 4 blue legged, and 2 Noss.

I will not be adding any fish until I get some help, Please.

Have you noticed or tested a rise in Nitrate and Nitrite at all?

Not at all, they are presently at zero, and I did the table shrimp to cycle.

Honestly, it will just take time. When I cycled my 125g, my ammonia would not go down. One day, i had nitrites, and from then, ammonia went down quickly.

Has anybody ever thrown in a second shrimp to jump start a cycle again?

did you take the shrimp out? or is still in there? i always take it out after i see the ammonia spike so its not just sitting there producing more

Oh lord no, the shrimp is already long gone, it kicked off the first cycle, but now I want to know if I can kick another cycle into gear.
