I use an API liquid test kit. When testing my ammonia I wait the 5 minutes it says to do before i check the results. After about 10 minutes they appear a lot darker. Is this normal? And which would be more accurate?
Follow the test kit instructions. Those kits can be misleading and inaccurate sometimes. If I get a weird or astonishing result, I usually just test again. Good luck
