Anemone Question

I've had this guy in my tank for about 3 weeks now. At first I thought maybe he was dying, but it doesn't seem to be the case. He has crawled up one corner of the glass, and has his foot attached to each side. I'm thinking he may be trying to split?

I did a water change on Wed. and all my perameters are within normal range, and temp is 79.

It looks to be interested in splitting...... usually they will go to the dark but whatever suites them I guess.. :)
