I finally got my RODI system installed but Im curious about something. I have a valve coming off the angle stop that supplies water to the RODI unit. I also have another valve coming off the end of the tube that the RODI water drips out of since I havent installed a spigot and I dont know if I will. I only plan on using my RODI water for aquarium use, not drinking water which means Il be using it for the initial fill up of the tank and for water changes only so the unit wont be used very often. When Im not using the unit, is it better to shut off the water supply valve so the unit isnt holding any pressure, or is it better to shut off the valve at the end of the water line where the faucet would be so the unit is holding pressure? Im not sure whats better for the filters and the DI unit.
