Are these sweeper tentacles?

Or is the coral beauty I bought yesterday munching on my coral?

I came in and it looks like the coral had kinda spread open. Coming from the middle of it are these long silky looking filaments. I have never seen sweeper tentacles before, but I'm assuming that's what this is. I'd think that if the fish nipped at it, the coral would close.

haha, no kidding? Well that's pretty cool. It was weird. It started out really thick then got thinner and thinner. I had no idea what it was, but it's all gone now. Thanks yote. Again, you be da man.

While we're at it. What do sweepers look like?

I kinda looks like snot. Stringy and slimy. I hate it when it floats around and slimes other corals. :lol:
