ASM G2 Skimmer

I have a chance to aquire an ASM G2 skimmer. Has anyone had one of these and if so, are they good skimmers? I have a possible trade going and I have been wanting to add a sump under my 40 gallon and this is the skimmer that comes in the deal with a 30 gallon sump and plumbing.

I have the G3 on my 180 an its works great

I have that skimmer on my 90g reef and it extracts some great nasty skim.

I've had one for about 10 years. No complaints. I had to replace the pump motor once and the collection cup ( I dropped it and it cracked). It does stick out above the sump. Seems to be good design. Easy to clean and large collection cup.
