    Captive care – The shrimp is known to start out as a docile tank mate, but become very aggressive killing other inverts and small fish. They should be kept only one per tank. It is an opportunistic predator. They come in a variety of different colors. Like all invertebrates, they are extremely sensitive to nitrates and copper, and should only be kept in aquariums with pristine water conditions.
