Hi I have just got a new tank for my 60th birthday unfortunately the sump arrived broken and the supplier is sending replacement on Tuesday,
my question is
on the over flow there is 2 pips into the sump under the tank and 1 return from the pump,
but on the inside of the wear there is only 2 pips, one for the back up over flow, and one for the water return to tank,
I am presuming then that the main overflow that has the valve underneath the tank to control the flow in to the sump dose not have a stand pipe fitted to it in the wear just the bulkhead in the bottom, or should I fit one to it slightly lower than the back up one or will it be ok as it is with out one ,:confused:
