Blotched Anthias (Holanthias Borbonius)

Anyone have experience with these guys ? There is one at my LFS that I may pick up. Just looking for special info that may be helpful with such a pricey fish.

Any advice would be great.

They are really awesome, just dont want to pay the price only to get home and watch it not eat. LOL

Unfortunately they need a big tank. They are beautiful!

Besides the high price, they are a deep water fish and do best in cooler water temps of around 70-78 max. They also may be hard to get eating. Make sure you see it eat before you buy it.

Like has already been said, make sure it's eating before you buy it. Most wont eat.
And like Capt said, they like cooler water.
