Sep 7, 2010 #1 M mm2meyer Reefing newb yesterday i found that my brain coral had separated itself from its skeleton. it still looks good but i dont know why it has done this and i cant find any info on it. any suggestions?

Sep 7, 2010 #2 dcantucson Reef pro Is there too much flow on it causing it to come loose. I don't think it's a good thing.
Sep 7, 2010 #3 Bifferwine I am a girl Yeah, that happened to my first brain that I ever had. Same thing. It just ripped off the skeleton. It was in too much flow.

Sep 7, 2010 #7 sen5241b Reef enthusiast I recently put a brain at the top of a the rock, right under my MH and it was too much light -it died. I think Brains are happier down on the sand.
