Broken Coralife Skimmer?

Ok so I have a Coralife Protein Skimmer thats rated for up to 65 gal on my 20 gal set up and it stopped producing bubbles in the main cylinder. If i blow into the air inlet tube it will start sucking are and blowing bubbles again but it will stop after a minute or so.

What could be wrong?

Sorry, gave a description for a different skimmer, lol. Not familiar with yours but my suggestion again would be to try to clean the pump. You can also shorten the air intake line a little, that helped my skimmer get a little air.

Sounds like the air intake nipple (where the airline attaches to the pump) is clogged with salt creep. Pull the airline off and jam a paper clip in it to clear it out.

Good to hear! I was about to suggest cleaning the air tube. I have had two 65's and never had a probelm with them as long as I cleaned them every once in a while.
