REEF COMPATIBILITY - May nip zoanthids, usually no threat to sessile invertebrates.
CAPTIVE CARE - Can be used as a utility fish, will take in mouthfuls of substrate if fine enough and clean it of food stuffs, will eat some filamentous algae, keep only one per tank unless a proven pair can be obtained. Known to jump out of open top tanks, do not keep with dottybacks, hawkfishes, or sand perches.
