No butterfly fish is reef safe, The pyramid butterfly will eat crustaceans and if well fed may (MAY) leave your corals alone and may not, it may for a while and then later on decide to dine on um. Butterfly fish are not recommended for the coral reef tank unless you are an advanced hobbyist and even then you may not be successful.
