calcium High or....

I was wondering what's more likely my Calcium test is out of date or my calcium is just that high.

If it is that high is this bad?

well i use a 2 part maybe 1 time a week and only about half the amount i should use. and i use buffers 1 or 2 times a month.

you may not need to be dosing. I would take a sample to your lfs and see if they can double check your results and then stop dosing if they are.

What about your other parameters? Alkalinity and Mg?

LFS did not have test kits for Calc, Mg. They told me to add Mg to fix high Calc. I wanted to do a water change before i added stuff. Maybe it would not hurt to add Mg.

You're LFS is misguiding you, and trying to sell you more :pooh:! All you need to do is a water change. Stop dosing, especially for things you can't test for.
