Is it possible to have to much Calcium and Magnesium in my tank? If so what happens to the livestock?

It's possible, but if the calcium level is too high, it might precipitate and the levels will drop. High mag alone won't cause any issues. They won't affect any fish or inverts, but corals don't react well to very high or very low levels.

What are the readings you are getting?

I dont have high levels of either I was just cuurious and couldnt find it anywhere on the net.Thanks for the info.
