candy can heads shrinking

i got some more candy cane frags and the guy who gave them to me said that he went out of town and his lights didnt come on and the tissue receded.how long should it take to come back

Depend on the coral and how well they like their new digs. But as long as there is flesh still and they are in a good environment, it will come back.

Are you feeding them? What are your params.....what are you feeding it? When was your last water change.............grrrrrr.....help us...help you...the more info you give the more we can help is all im sayin.....+1 Hannah tho, theres always a chance at survival if theres still flesh, depending on params.

Candy canes are pretty hardy. I have some pinkish colored ones that are growing like weeds while my neon green ones seem to have shrunk. The lighting, amount of food they get, water conditions etc will determine how long it takes for them to come back or if they will at all.

i dont see any tentacles at night.water params are good.i feed them shrimp.
good new two heads are completely covered.

Candy canes grow very quickly, normally. They should come back in a month or two if they are in a healthy environment.
