cerith eggs

DUSTOFF MEDEVAC
So, my ceriths are breeding, and I just wanted to share something amusing!
I saw one cerith on top of another, and just assumed he was going for a ride, but when I get back from dinner, I saw the bottom snail with a long, thread like mass of eggs from his back and has been trailing them around! The other one laid the eggs on it's back!

Anyone know if cerith eggs ever reach maturity? Not a big fan of them, but, it'd be cool, I suppose.

If you have any fish in your tank, the chances are slim that any of the eggs will hatch and survive. Baby snails (and snail eggs) make a decent snack for pretty much everything else in the tank.

Yeah Biff, I know the chances are slim--> none. But, I know some snails are prone to having different types of offspring and some tend to be more viable than others.

What about in the sump?
