Would you go with an occelaris clownfish or a percula clownfish????

the ocellaris is a bit easier to take care but not as brightly colored. the percula also has a thicker black outline around its white stripes. the ocellaris is also peaceful whereas the percula is semi aggressive. Myself i like the ocellaris

There's really no difference. They're so closely related that they can even mate together. The Percula will generally have thicker black outlines when it matures though.

My ocellaris (mated pair) are my favorite fish in the tank. They also are extremely hardy and docile- I'd go with them

Mine is a total jerk, the only mean fish in my tank. He chases and bullies my assessor.
In my smaller tank I had 2 of them and 1 bullied the other to death, I then returned the bully. So, my 2 experiences with them have been that they can be pretty aggressive. BUT, every fish is different and stocking order helps.

My ocellaris pair were complete buttheads. I have a perc pair now, but their in their very own tank, so I don't know how they would interact with my other fish. I will say that my percs are very pretty fish, much prettier than my ocellaris pair....
