Cleaner shrimp question

So I'm planning on getting another shrimp, can I net these out to transferred them to my tank? or should I use my hand? can they be exposed to air or not preferred? I don't want to transfer the water from my LFS that it come with...

Either should work fine...

I'v done both, hand and net.

I got a cleaner a few weeks ago and I used my hand. For some reason it likes my columns. But it will jump on your hand when it's in the tank. He's cool to watch. still working on a name for it though.

i always use a bucket and set the net on it then dump the bag into the net.

I've always net the shrimps from a drip bucket.

Since I drip inverts in the bag,I usually just gently pour them into the tank.
But I know whats in the water from the store,which allows me to be able to do that safely.

thanks for the good info...I probably will use my hand so I don't risk injuring the shrimp...

what i do is get my hand under the shrimp and catch it in a little hole in my gap, like i cup it and i agree get a firs shrimp they do the same thing and are much more bold
