Clownfish mating!!??

Hi, i have to percula clowns in my reef tank and one of them stays at the bottom and has been kinda laying there, while the other one dug a hole kinda around it, and that one i just saw the twitching around the one laying? Is it sick or are they mating? Ugghh clownfish are so stressing! haha :sfish:

yea, mine female does the same thing every once in while, but if i'm not mistaking I think the prefer a simi flat hard surface to lay egg's on. I've seen her fanning the sand especially at night,get up in the morning and have a divit in the sand.. are your's hosting??

It's hard to tell with Clownfish sometimes. If it is acting normal during feedings, then I would guess that they are spawning of simply hosting. :dunno:

Clownfish are in a whole category all to themselves :) Keep us posted though. Take a video!

Ok thx guys! Yea she is acting pritty normal during feeding and what not! I hope they lay some eggs!!
