I would like to see the forum have impact on conservation, tips for breedings, egg maturation, raising fry, which species that are currently bred that are in trouble in the wild -- what's up with Tangs, has anyone patented a clown fish? All the sorts of things that interact with breeding species to discourage wild take but that also inform science -- maybe even partnership and start a list of sympathetic aquariums, science labs, etc

Thanks for the feedback @gryphern - that's a interesting idea. I'd really like to see us encourage this too, as it's pretty important for the hobby (and fun at the same time). At the moment, we're probably a little too quiet to have a meaningful impact, but I will happily create a sticky thread about this once things pick up a bit :).
