Coral, Anemone?

Today i was looking real close at some rock and i noticed that i had some white tube looking things with what looked like anemones at the end. Some are white and some are red. When i touched them with a toothpick it retracted back in to the tube really fast. What might this be?

Hard to say from the pictures, but it appears to be a kind of feather duster worm. Anemones don't have hard, white tubes.

I googled it and it looks like a feather duster worm. Are these bad? not really sure where they came from.

No, they aren't bad. They are really common hitch hikers that just come in on the rocks. They are cool critters.

I had a few that hitchhiked in my last aquarium, I liked them a LOT. The little fans used to "spin" a bit in the water too, they were cool to watch. :)
