Coral Feeding?

Should we feed our corals? If so, what should they be eating? Just asking because some of our corals seem to be growing better/faster than others.

- Frogspawn
- Hammer Corals
- Green Star Polyps
- Zoanthids (2-3 types)
- Yellow Polyps
- Green Polyps
- Ricordea Mushroom
- Green Striped Mushrooms
- Mushrooms (2 other types)
- Kenya Trees

We've seen good growth with just about everything except the frogspawn. Our green mushrooms are having babies & yellow polyps are having babies too. Just got some zoas & gsp so no growth there yet.

Also, when we switch to our 90g with the T5 lighting.. will the corals all perk up and grow bigger? We currently are running PC's.

They should do better with better lighting. PC lights are pretty limiting when it comes to coral growth.

The frogspawn, hammer and ricordeas may take meaty foods if you try to target feed them. But they may not.

None of your corals NEED to be fed, all will be just fine with good lighting and water quality.

Thanks for the info! We spot feed mysis to the polyps, sometimes the frogspawn & hammer catch pieces from time to time. Our water quality is excellent.. it tests good every week and our water is crystal clear  Hopefully when we make the switch to our 90g and everything survives..the lighting is all they need. :)
