Coral Pricing??

I have some coral that I'm going to either sell or trade. I know that prices vary, but I'm just ling for a rough idea. Not looking to rob anyone, just be fair. I have colonies of zoas, poly's and purple shrooms. I would guess that both the zoas and poly colonies have about 50 and there are 12 shrooms on a fairly large rock.

Its really hard to say. Where I live my lfs would charge $100-$200 for those. In other places where there is more competition the prices would be significantly lower.

wow glad i don't live out there at my lfs the zoas and palys would be 25-30 dollars
and the shrooms might go 35-40 dollars

Its crazy what they charge for stuff. They really are the only place for a 150 mile radius though.

If I was selling those. I'd ask 40 on the zoas, 40 on the shrooms, and 15-20 on the palys

Purple shrooms go for a high price in my area. That rock would probably be about $80. The zoas and palys, half that.

Thanks for the thoughts on this. I just sold the shrooms and zoas for $80 tonight. I have more zoas that I'll have to get pictures of, but your thoughts have helped me price them.
