Coralife Super Skimmer with Needle Wheel Technology

So I have decided that I should get a skimmer for my 90 gallon tank. I've read the reviews for the Coralife Super Skimmer with Needle Wheel Technology and it seems like it is good for its price. Anyone have experience with this?

I would go with an octopus brand skimmer. You can get on for less than 200 dollars and imo, they will work better than the coralife one.

Do you know of any hang on back ones? Because I don't have a sump.

The Octopus hang on back skimmers start at around $160, I believe. There are several models of the hang on back kind.

The Super Skimmers are not bad, but the biggest complaint people have about them is that they are very sensitive and tend to overflow a lot. The Octopus skimmers don't have that problem.

Eshoppes makes a great hob skimmer too. Dont get the Coralife one I had one and sent it back. Its a pain

Lots of places. Your best bet is to google Reef Octopus protein skimmer. Lots of results pop up.

Aqua C makes good HOB skimmer too (I am using Remora Pro S with Mag 5), it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. 2c
