Corals?

I believe our LFS mis-names basically everything. lol I have seen a few coral online that these may be, any ideas?

The first one looks like a toadstool

Toadstool, purple frilly neon green base mushrooms and green flame paly's. Sweet additions.

or to simplify things... toadstool, mushrooms, palys.. three hardy and good lookin soft corals! haha those names get a little confusing sometimes.

All nice and healthy.

okay. they were labeled as
1) toadstool mushroom
2&3) hairy mushroom (were $25 each. i feel like i got a great deal lol)
4) button polyp.
5) just thought i'd post the whole tank

thanks for the help! what do you think of "feeding" your coral?

You can feed the polyps, I feed mine brine, krill, and mysis. They'll multiply quicker eating it. The others are photosynthetic and filter feeders.

Sounds about right, names of corals tend to have local variations.

well the hairy mushrooms open their "mouths" then turn inside out to "Eat" then come back & put their "mouth" looking thing back ? lol so i think they like to eat?

They can eat but, they're gonna grow fast enough to where you won't want them to grow faster.
