It likes colder waters, and large established tanks. It may eat corals, anemones and sponges if there isn’t enough food available, and will be more likely the bigger it gets. It primarily nocturnal and will hide under the rocks during the day. Like all invertebrates it is extremely sensitive to nitrates and copper, and even tiny amounts are lethal to them.
