anyone no where i can get a 12 volt power supply that will power 4 / 6 amp cooling fans ?

try ebay. I got a 20 amp powersupply for like 20 bucks. Just get one at around 30 amps or so since you are running 4 fans at 6 amps a piece. You want a bit of over head so a 25 amp one might not be enough.

You would want to run the fans in parrallel. Each fan needs the full 12 volts. If you put them in series, the fans would only get about 3 volts each.

cool thank u very mutch i think i will use a computer power supply i have one that is a 30 amp i will give it a try

Yeah, you will have to short two wires together to power it up without a mother board. I believe that it is the green and one of the black wires on the 24 pin connector.
