Duncan head stretching

is it normal for the duncan to stretch almost twice as big as its base

i know they dont require alot of light , why would it be stretched like that ? previously it would eat and it would go into its base, now as you can see in the pic it stays out and eats

am i too worried or is it just growing ?

mine does the same thing..i think its normal..sometimes mine opens really big..and some days not to much..

It looks normal to me...if it's doing it often, then try giving it some more light, cause it's stretching for more.

Looks fine to me. As long as it gets decent lighting (mine are on the bottom) and a good turnover rate in the tank, should be just fine.
