Elementary teacher-classroom living reef?

Where to start ie; equipment, size, educational information, etc. Some personal experience with a saltwater tank several years ago. Any advice good or bad would be helpful. Thanx

I think you should definatly start off with a small sized tank because its cheapest, less maintnence, and if you mess up it easy to just start over.

Are you looking for a large enough tank for fish? Or would you be alright with just some shrooms, etc.? I've tried convincing my wife, who teaches 4th graders, to start a saltwater tank for her classroom. She insists that it'll be too much work, + she'd have to being it home on holidays.

i think a biocube 29 gallon would be a great starter tank for a classroom enviroment.

I would just be worried about having to move it at least once a year. I would think the smaller the better. But the kids would love it.

Dont go too small though, maybe in the range of 15-30G
