So I am 3 months into this hobby. I have a frag of Acan and Frogspawn I just purchased and caught my emerald crab tearing up and eating both of them.....is this normal? I got the crab for bubble algae, but its all gone now, should I get rid of it now? Are they not coral safe? I need to catch him tonight and put him in my qt tank until I figure out what to do.....in the mean time i moved both of those frags on the opposite side of the tank, hoping they will get a break and recover.....

That is not normal. Is he starving? Have you been feeding him? I'd think they'd only go after corals as a last resort. Was there any algae on or around the corals? Maybe he was just going after the algae, if there was.
In any case, try to catch the crab and take him back to the store or something. Emeralds are usually reef safe.
