Existin Refugim

I have a chance to buy a used and currently running Refugim setup, which includes the skimmer, sand bed, and pump. My question is would this be a good alternative if setting up a saltwater tank for the first time. I am also adding existing LR and LS that has been circulating since removal?

New to hobby, and would like to avoid any steps back befor emoving forward.
