fan worm

Hey guys, I have a fan worm that I have had about a month and today he is sticking out about 3" and turning his crown all around. Is this normal? My other fans have never done that, that I have seen. Any imput would be a help, thanks Reefer buddy

Ok 43 views and no one has anything to say. So now he has come all the way out of his tube and is moving around the sand any ideas?

I cant say I have heard of that behavior in a tube worm before, but it might be building up its tube or trying to gather more food

I'm sorry to hear this. Is he one of those big ones or a little one? Did the water tests show anything unusual?
I have two about 2 inches long each and I must admit I find myself worrying when they aren't out, but I've not had them climb out of their tubes. :shock:
Can you QT it?
PS Can you show a pick? Maybe someone will know something when they see it?

If he has come all the way out of his tube, then yes he is likely on his way out :(
