Anyone know of any threads were i can guild my own filtration system for my saltwater aquarium?

What do you mean by filtration system? Sump? Refugium? Protein skimmer?

not sure lol the one that sits under the aquarium and has a biological and plants in it. Cant remember the name of it though lol. I am using a very large cannister filter and im not having problems but i would like to change to something more natural you know. I do not have pre drilled holes in the aquarium so i would have to make something that hangs over the back. Would you now of any designs and howtos to help me?
