Finally got me a clam!

Looks nice. Did you get him attached to that rock, or did you just place him there?

If you just placed him there, keep an eye on him. It sometimes takes them a while to attach to their rock. When I first got my clam, I needed to prop him up with smaller rocks to keep the snails from knocking him over.

Thanks everyone here's a pic I took as I was leaving the house.

My clam seems to e pretty sturdy where it's at, it's kind of in a little rock valley so it keeps him from falling over.
How long will it take for it to attach to the rock?

It looks happy. Each clam is different in the length of time it will take to attach its foot. It may have already attached or it could take a few days/weeks.

Thanks everyone, my clam seems to be doing great so far. I think I could see its foot trying to attach to the rock, so hopefully that means its happy where its at :)
