Fish lingo

help a new guy out:bowdown: I'm pretty goog with picking up the slang, but some of it is hard to translate. Is their a thread with some translation of some of these abrivations and BIG words:question:

Why don't you just enter what you want to know and I'm sure you will get the answers here. The world is bombarded and ruled by acronyms and shorthand and text!

So send in your requests and IMHO you should get answers PDQ. An the answers? WYSIWYG, LOL.

LFS = local fish store
LPS = large polyp stony coral
SPS = small polyp stony coral
Softie = Soft coral
Nem = anemone
Trates or NO3 = Nitrates
Trites or NO2 = Nitrites
Cycle = Nitrogen Cycle
Pics!! = Pictures and tons of them :mrgreen:

Those are the most common ones that I can think of. If you see something and you dont know what it means, just ask. Someone will answer.
