I just got a flame hawk. I known meaty foods is what they eat, but what is a good diet never had one before. Like what is the best for them?

Guess it depends on what all you feed your tank...I have a flame among other meat eaters ....he'll eat table shrimp,krill,squid,scallops,clams and trigger formula that i feed the triggs....

My flame hawk loved mysis shrimp i slowly converted him to flake food and mysis once and a while if you dont have many meat eaters.

Have you ever seen teh San Francisco Bay Brand frozen foods? They're not cheap, but are reaaly great. they have different kinds for vegetarians, meat eaters, etc. The "Marine Cuisine" is a good all-around one, so is Angel and Butterfly. Your flame hawk will eat those heartily!
