Frag plugs

Hey all, I just picked up a couple florida rics, and a chalice. These are the first pieces that I have added to my tank that are attached to a plug. What do most of you do...Leave them on the plug, or remove them from the plug and place them on a rock directly?

I only ask because I find the plugs unpleasant looking in the tank.

I usually break off the bottom piece of the plug off then glue the plug to a rock. Corals that you add to your tank will eventually over grow those plugs. If you look in my tank, you can't see any of the plugs that my corals are attached to.

I put the end of the plug in a whole abduction let it grow! :D oh god that sounds wrong lol...
