Jan 5, 2010 #1 H Hiker4twenty Reef enthusiast I just set my fuge up this weekend. I have a 40w CFL bulb for lighting. How long should I be leaving the light on? I've ready a few different options such as 24hrs, 12on/12off and 18on/6off.

Jan 5, 2010 #6 Bifferwine I am a girl I run my fuge lights 24 hours a day. You should either do this, or run the fuge lights opposite your tank lights.
