hi guys. i'm posting some pics. this stuff is driving me crazy. perhaps you guys could give me some advise in how to get rid of this stuff.
fuzzy algae...makeing me nuts.

Thats why I always photobucket to upload my pics:D
To help with the algae,siphon out as much as possible when you do your water changes and step those up to. Also cut your lights back a few minutes.Sometimes a 10 or 15 minute difference is all it take.
Above all else,figure out where the algaes nutrients are coming from.

Water changes, water changes, water changes. And like yote said figure out where the algaes nutrients are coming from and fix the problem there.

i'll do a 20 gal. change tomorrow and reduce my lighting. lets see what happens. thanks guys.

Is you chaetomorpha in you main display or your sump?

thats in my sump. when i got it it was only a small clump. i would say it has doubled in size in a month.

i checked my ro water, thinking it might have had phos. in it, but it's good. i was wondering if it could be flow. i was looking at my tank and there seems to be dead spots in those areas. you think that could be it?

Dead spots are algaes best friend.The dead spots let waste build up and thats where algae usually starts.
