general coral info

Hey all,

I was just curious how long it takes for coral colonies to spread. I know it depends on the coral type and all, but I didn't know if there was a general idea. I have button polyps and star polyps, they haven't changed much since i got them about a month ago. The star polyps are looking nice, they just haven't branched out yet from there small rock.

It'll take them a few months to start growing and spreading.

This depends so much on your personal setup and water quality that it would be impossible to give any rules of thumb on this kinda thing
