get corals on high rocks?

Jmck

Reef enthusiast
I was just wondering, what does everyone here use to get there corals sitting vertically on rock walls? I want some of my corals to sit up the top but there is no way to make them stay/fit

do i need to take them off the base rock they came with? or can i just glue that rock down ?

thanks
josh

You can glue them with superglue gel.

1. Take the rock out of the tank
2. Pat the area of the rock with a paper towel, to dry it (just a little)
3. Apply the superglue GEL.

Hold it down on the rock for 10-15 seconds, when it feels secure give it a dip in a bucket of saltwater. The salt in the water will help it seat even better, and then place it back in the tank.

Super glue GEL works good, regular superglue is a little to runny.

You can also use epoxy to stick the two pieces of rock together. If you go that route make sure you get one that cures underwater.

Thats awesome, well, time for me to get some corals setup looking awesome on the higher rocks :D

Hahaha, so far no auto fragging, fingers crossed. thanks for the advice on the skimmer and the dollar store, ill have a look when I get a bit better :D

Yep, you will memorize very quickly where all the Ace's, Lowe's and Home Depot's in your town keep their epoxies and glues!! ;)
